1-2-1 Guitar Lessons Information
Lessons are 55 minutes & are booked on either a weekly or fortnightly basis.
Here's just some of the content my students work through:
All students are assessed with regard to their goals, experience & personal requirements; then an action plan is created to meet their requirements
Many of my guitar students are total beginners, where with regard to the guitar they learn to hold it, tune it, play a few basic chords, & rhythms, start playing a few of their favourite songs, & a little guitar theory mixed in. From this point on & with my support they progress at a pace they are happiest with towards their goal
Learn to play rhythm guitar
Learn to play lead guitar
Learn the essential theory toolkit, a must have for all guitarist's! Learn music notation, key & time signatures, guitar tab & scale & chord construction for composition & improvisation
Learn to play guitar styles such as; rock, blues, metal, indie, punk, jazz, pop, folk, country & funk...
Types of guitar tuning (Standard & Open)
Slide guitar, finger picking, & lead guitar techniques
Understand & use the essential scale templates
Understand & form any chord using chord templates
They build an extensive chord toolkit, by understanding the relationships between scales & chord construction
Song writing techniques, such as making use of over 70 chords in any key & modal interchange; where they learn to create songs using two parallel scales (e.g. E major & E minor scales)
They create moods in music, that is they produce music that stir people's emotions towards feeling: (happy, emotional, bluesy, tense) through the use of modes
Learn & apply pitch axis theory, where chords from scales or modes are mixed to create unique sounding music

Overview: The Guitar Master Class, 'Teacher Session', has been designed for people who need to get serious about their guitar knowledge & expertise very quickly.
It's best suited for experienced guitarists, who can play chords; any lead guitar experience & knowledge of guitar theory would be useful but not essential.
The Guitar Master Class, 'Teacher Session', is an original, comprehensive programme that has been designed for serious musicians & guitar or budding guitar teachers, who are keen to bring their guitar theory toolkit, their knowledge of chords & their lead guitar skills up to speed. You will have your own copy of complete guitar lessons for guitar theory, rhythm guitar & lead guitar & the rights to share them with your guitar students.

Teaching files are handed out on teaching day on receipt of payment.
